The Freeride / Avalanche Awareness Module focuses on off-piste skiing skills and mountain safety and is conducted under the guidance of a LSIA Examiner and a UIAGM Mountain Guide. \nLSIA is a full member of ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association). The LSIA Level 3 qualification corresponds to the ISIA Stamp level. \nCOURSE OVERVIEW\nDuration: 8 days (minimum 64 hours). The course is led jointly by a LSIA Examiner and a UIAGM Mountain Guide to ensure the highest standards of technical and safety instruction. \nASSESSMENT\nCandidates are assessed on all units of the module except skiing performance (which is assessed during the Level 3 final assessment).
