LSIA Level 1 is the official entry point into the LSIA and ISIA qualification pathway and the first mandatory step toward Level 2. \nLSIA is a full member of ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association). Your qualification is part of the international ISIA system. \nCOURSE OVERVIEW\nDuration: 5 days (40 hours). Minimum 5 hours per day on snow + indoor theory sessions\nLocation: Les Deux Alpes\, France\nLanguage: English\nTrainer & Examiner: Craig Nelder\nPrice: 450 Eur \nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN \nTechnical development\n• Fundamental snowboard movements and biomechanics\n• Technical understanding of beginner and lower-intermediate riders\n• Clear demonstrations\n• Personal riding improvement \nTeaching system\n• LSIA “Blue Progression”\n• Lesson structure: Introduction – Analysis – Goals – Teaching – Reflection – Summary\n• Student-centered teaching\n• Communication & guest service principles\n• Beginner progression building\n• First Aid basics in alpine environment \nASSESSMENT\nContinuous assessment throughout the course\nYou are evaluated in:\n• Technical performance\n• Teaching skills\n• Theoretical understanding\nTheory includes a written test and movement analysis. \nPROFESSIONAL STATUS\nSuccessful candidates receive an LSIA certificate allowing them to teach beginners and lower-intermediate snowboarders within organized snowsports schools.\nISIA equivalency:\n• Level 2 → ISIA Blue\n• Level 3 → ISIA Stamp\nLSIA instructors are internationally recognized within the ISIA system.
