DESCRIPTION:The aim of the Level 3 Technical / Teaching Module is to increase the candidates‘ technical competency and understanding of skiing and teaching. This module provides training in advanced groomed\, ungroomed\, and introductory off-piste skiing (steered to carved ski performance\, bumps\, powder snow\, etc.) and teaching with emphasis on reflective learning\, advance methodology and progressions. Candidates leave the course with clear verbal and written evaluations of their performance and suggestions for long term development and time frame for their individual preparation for the final assessment. \nDate: 3-10 November\, 2024\nDuration: 8 days\nLocation: Sölden\, Austria\nTrainer: Tomáš Mical\nLanguage: English \nPrice:\nUntil 10.04 – 850 eur\nFrom 10.05 till 10.24 – 950 eur\nFrom 10.25 till 11.03 – 1150 eur \nIf you decide not to participate in the course for personal reasons – the amount is not refunded. SUMMARY:LSIA Level 1 Snowboard Instructor Course [Solden 2024]
DESCRIPTION:The Level 1 Snowboard Course is designed to be an educational experience. Participants will be introduced to and gain the basic knowledge of LSIA Technical and Teaching Concepts as well as thorough understanding of the role of snowboard teaching within the snowsports industry. They will receive coaching on their snowboarding\, and they will also receive suggestions and strategies for their long-term development. \nLSIA Level 1 snowboard instructor qualification is the lowest level that can be obtained in LSIA. Level 1 is a pre – requisite for the Level 2. \n● It is a 5 day (40 hrs) course\n● Learning process is based on a balance between practical (minimum 5 hrs on-snow) and theoretical (3 hrs indoor) elements. \nEntry requirements:\n● Be 17 years of age at the commencement of the course\n● Candidates are required to ride confidently on all blue and red terrain in skidded snowboard turns.\n● No previous teaching experience is required. \nContent:\n● The LSIA Level 1 is an introductory course aimed at any competent snowboarder seeking to enter the snowsports industry and to work as an instructor. The Level 1 qualification is the entry point to the LSIA training pathway. The Level 1 certified instructor will be provided with the basic skills needed to get started instructing in most snowsport schools.\n● Participants will be introduced to and gain the very basics of LSIA technical and teaching principles and concepts as well as the role of snowboard teaching within the snowsports industry.
