SUMMARY:LSIA Level 2 Ski Instructor Course [Spring 2021]
DESCRIPTION:The Level 2 Course is designed to increase the understanding of LSIA Technical and Teaching Concepts and the role of snowsports teaching within the snowsports industry. Candidates will receive coaching on their skiing\, teaching skills and will also receive suggestions and strategies for their long-term development. Parallel skiing and its variations (long\, short\, drills\, etc.) and application to variable terrain are cornerstone of Level 2 Course.

SUMMARY:LSIA Level 2 Ski Instructor Assessment [Spring 2021]
DESCRIPTION:A two-day assessment conducted by LSIA Examiners\, will include teaching scenarios\, demonstration of skiing ability and written test. Movement analysis is also included within the written test part of exam. The assessment is conducted as a training-style session with two LSIA Examiners to increase objectivity of the assessment. Each candidate is to be given numerous attempts at each task. By creating a relaxed atmosphere\, examiners are allowing every opportunity for the candidates to demonstrate required level of the particular skill and understanding to attain their Level 2 Qualification.

SUMMARY:LSIA Level 3 Ski Instructor Assessment [Spring 2021]
DESCRIPTION:The assessment is conducted on an on-going basis throughout the Level 3 Assessment Module after completing of all three compulsory Level 3 modules. The assessment days will be run as a learning opportunity with at least three examiners over the period of the four-day assessment. Each candidate is to be given numerous attempts at each task. \nBy creating a relaxed atmosphere\, it will allow every opportunity for the candidate to demonstrate required level of the particular skill and understanding to attain their Level 3 Qualification. A four-day assessment run by LSIA Examiners will include teaching scenarios\, demonstration ability and written test. Movement analysis unit will be run as a technical discussion with two examiners.
