SUMMARY:LSIA Level 3 Technical / Teaching Module [Sölden 2023]
DESCRIPTION:The aim of the Level 3 Technical / Teaching Module is to increase the candidates‘ technical competency and understanding of skiing and teaching. This module provides training in advanced groomed\, ungroomed\, and introductory off-piste skiing (steered to carved ski performance\, bumps\, powder snow\, etc.) and teaching with emphasis on reflective learning\, advance methodology and progressions. Candidates leave the course with clear verbal and written evaluations of their performance and suggestions for long term development and time frame for their individual preparation for the final assessment.

DESCRIPTION:The Level 2 Course is designed to increase the understanding of LSIA Technical and Teaching Concepts and the role of snowsports teaching within the snowsports industry. Candidates will receive coaching on their skiing\, teaching skills and will also receive suggestions and strategies for their long-term development. Parallel skiing and its variations (long\, short\, drills\, etc.) and application to variable terrain are cornerstone of Level 2 Course.
