Become an internationally recognized snowboard instructor. LSIA Level 1 is the official entry point into the LSIA and ISIA qualification pathway and the first mandatory step toward Level 2.
LSIA is a full member of ISIA (International Ski Instructors Association). Your qualification is part of the international ISIA system.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Duration: 5 days (40 hours). Minimum 5 hours per day on snow + indoor theory sessions

Theory includes a written test and movement analysis.
PROFESSIONAL STATUS
Successful candidates receive an LSIA certificate allowing them to teach beginners and lower-intermediate snowboarders within organized snowsports schools.
ISIA equivalency:
• Level 2 → ISIA Blue
• Level 3 → ISIA Stamp
LSIA instructors are internationally recognized within the ISIA system. Local resort rules may apply depending on country.
Certification validity: 3 years.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum age 17 at the start of the course
• Confident riding on blue and red slopes (controlled skidded turns)
• No previous teaching experience required
WHAT’S NEXT?
After Level 1, instructors can continue to LSIA Level 2 (5-day training + 2-day assessment) and further progress toward Level 3 and higher qualifications within the LSIA system .
LSIA Level 1 is the foundation of professional thinking, structured teaching and an internationally connected instructor pathway.

DAILY SCHEDULE
Day 0: Arrival in the evening
Day 1-4: 08:30 – 14:30 on-snow training (with a break)
Evening or before/after snowboarding sessions (2-3 hours) including individual and team tasks
Day 5: 08:30 – 16:00 on-snow practice and assessment (with a break). Final discussion. Course leaders’ feedback. Certificate awarding ceremony. Departure after snowboarding

11.15 – 12.01 — 850 EUR

No refund for personal cancellation.
Full refund if canceled by the association.
